So, Al, Peg makes greeting cards? Surprised

I'm quite intrigued, as I dabbled in that, myself! I do more scrapbooking than I do cardmaking nowadays, but that's very cool! Very Happy

Yes she's quite addicted! LOL. I have a handful of pictures I need to get in website form. Maybe I can do that quick at lunch and then post the site.

Yup...that's how we fund our vacations. With my stained glass & video projects and Peg's cards and such we've made enough to put a good dent in our Jamaica trip bill.

That's awesome! Smile

This year has been the year of my friends having babies (especially baby girls!), so I was quite busy making baby onesies (with rubber stamps and fabric ink) for everyone. Wink

Now that the little ones are starting to sit up, walk, and talk, my baby onesie making has taken a bit of a back seat, but I'll just have to wait until the younger siblings start coming! Laughing

Hey Al thats what I do. I make home videos with pictures/video and music. It is quite fun and I am addicted to it. I have made several for my family and friends and their friends. We all have a blast watching them. For my family we have what you call a family video night where everyone gets together and watch the videos that I put together. Then have karaoke party right after to get more footage for the next video. The one I am working on now is one of my son and his cousins all wrestling and boxing and working out. and I will mix and edit the video and put on the theme song from Rocky. That one ought to be good . LOL keeps me busy and not think about food so much. They say I ought to do this professionally. Well maybe one of these days I just might.

Here it is gang...some SunArts' Stuff. I had posted this before, but I didn't have Peg's cards in it.

Hi Melissa,

I have made many for Peg's family, several for friends. Several wedding video scrapbooks. It's a lot of fun! Right now I've got a box full of 8mm home movies that I need to do for someone. Smile

Do you do that on a PC or Mac? I've got a Mac.

Yes you should do it professionally...but...as you know, this can be a time intensive piece of work. Particularly if you design special title pages with photos & graphics. It can get quite expensive for a final product. I have seen "professionally done" (ie wedding photographers) pieces...quite frankly...I was not impressed. I specially was not impressed after I found out how much they charged for it!! (500.00-700.00) Shocked I know we (you or I) could have done a better job than that.

OOOhhhhhh, I love scrapping and cardmaking! My current project is that I am making a "generations" book for my grandmother for Mother's Day. I am having a blast and learning about my ancestors at the same time. I would LOVE any scrapbooking ideas from you all if you would like to share.

Take care,
Susan

PS: I have to watch though, I will srap and snack at the same time and before I know it, I will have one half box of Pamela's Chuncky Chocolate Chip cookies gone!! :<)

I have a pc. I have a program that i use that professionally edits the movie with different styles ...slow motion 1950's etc. Then put it on to a DVD. I can use pictures and video and mix it together .I really love it looks professional. Its not hard to do and not very expensive to do either. in fact, mostly its the cost of the dvds. i seen some people pay that much for a wedding video that comes out the same as mine, but really i think i could have done better at less money . She paid around 300.00. I coudn't believe it.
