I was grocery shopping the other day and passed a family shopping. The parents pulled out a multipack of snacks and the elementary school aged child said not to buy it because it contained peanut butter cookies and some of the kids in her school were allergic. I thought it was wonderful that this girl was concerned and that the school had told them to be aware of those things. The parents were trying to convince her to let them buy them and not take the peanut butter ones to school. Sometimes the kids are smarter than the parents.
