Ok, there are LOTS of GF snacks out there, some are better than others.

I think many of us have agreed that the Wylde pretzels (made by Ener-G) are some of our favorite pretzels. You can order them online--I have found that they are the closest to "real" pretzels.

EnviroKidz makes some great snack bars, too. They're kind of like Rice Crispy bars, but they are GF and pretty yummy. The Panda Bars are a peanut butter flavor, the Koala bars are a cocoa crispy flavor, and the Cheetah bars have dried berries in them. I recommend all of them! Smile

I like the Enjoy Life snack bars. They come in a variety of flavors, and you can get them at the Gluten-Free Mall. The Web site is www.glutenfreemall.com.

You can also browse through that site to see what other snacks may appeal to you.

And don't forget, fresh fruits and vegetables are *always* a good choice! Smile

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!
Very Happy

Ok, Mousy...now you are giving me a clearer picture of what went wrong! Quit smoking in December (I've been there too) and you said there was an upset in your life.....these can be a recipe for derailment! I guess you were feeling deprived from having had to give up many things that gave you emotional comfort. But now it's time to get back up on the horse and ride straight! Laughing

Lots of people experience set backs so remember not to beat up on yourself, recognize what set you back in the first place and realize you're only human and will make mistakes. And start cooking some good GF food! Good luck!

Yup--there are lots of places online from which you can order GF food! Smile

As I mentioned, the Gluten-Free Mall is one of them. Also, there's the Gluten-Free Pantry www.glutenfree.com and Miss Roben's Allergy Grocer www.missroben.com.

Seeing that you and I are in NNJ, there's a GF bakery not too far from us. It's in Chester, NY (right by Woodbury Commons, the shopping outlet). It's called the Gluten-Free Bread Basket. http://gfbreadbasket.com/ My dad ordered me some stuff from there for Easter, and I must say, it was all pretty tasty! Wink

A place that has some pretty delish cookies is the Sun Flour Baking Company. http://sunflourbaking.com/ I got some cookies from there for St. Patty's Day and you could not even tell that they were GF!!! Shocked

Also, there is Gluten Solutions. http://glutensolutions.com/

I hope this list can get you off to a good start! Best of luck to you!
Keep smiling!!

If you have a photo (JPG) of yourself, you can e-mail the file to either Al or myself and we can help you out, if you'd like. Smile

EDIT: Ooh, sorry to volunteer you out like that without asking, Al! Embarassed
It's just that you're so good at stuff like that! Wink

in your post you will paste the link to your image.

www.linktoyourpicture.com (this is a fake link for illustration purposes only)

put the at the end of the link.

so it'll look like

Yup - in any post of YOURS you care to put it in. Like the next one post you make back to me Smile You can't put in any body elses post but your own.

Once you get it nailed down...we'll tell you how to put in your signature so that it'll show up every time. One step at a time...

Can you post just the link to your image?
