| How important is it to use shampoo and other hair products that are gluten free. I have been told that hair is not a living part of the body so it can not absorb or be injured by hair products. Does anyone have any info on this as I find I seem to react somewhat to different products and do not know if it is just the product or if it is because it may contain gluten. thanks |

| it is very important to use gf products---when washing your hair, there is a chance some shampoo will get in your mouth--same as soap, cause you do wash your face---same goes for lotions because if it is on your hand and you eat something with your fingers--its in your mouth---it takes a very minimal amount of gluten to make us sick---i use pantene shampoo, but i have lots of hair and need a good shampoo--they say dove is gf and a few others, i use soapsoft brand for bath soap and i always read the ingreds of lotions, perfumes, make-up, etc-------very important--deb |
