YEAH! went to Carraba's last night and was very, very pleased. they had a gluten-free menu. lots of dishes, fish and chicken entrees with garlic mashed potatoes, brocoli, spinach and a gluten-free italian salad.
they are the same company as Outback steakhouse. very good italian restaurant. check if you have one in your area.
this was in green brook, nj.
very positive experience!!

Hmm...I'm in Northern NJ, and I've never heard of that chain...
That's cool, though--I'll have to keep an eye out for it!

I just took a peak at the menu and it sounds great except for one little thing. It you are to request everything with out grill baste then the baste must have gluten, if they are basting all the other products then it would stand to reason that there would be gluten on the grill? If people have an issue with home grilling if the grill was used with gluten products wouldn't it be the same issue at this restaurant?
Arrgh
Thought for today
Wouldn't it be wonderful if they discovered that people who DID NOT have CD was 1:133. _________________ CD by Biopsy 3/25/88 |
