my mom had something similar happen, she was completely gluten free (as was I) she was still having symptoms I wasn't the only thing different in our meals is she was still eating dairy at this point. I've been lactose intolerant since I was a baby. Mom cut out dairy from her diet, and is now fine! Things that used to bother her like coffee don't because she uses soy or lactaid milk!

I was diagnosed Lactose Intolerant before being DX with CD. I was then advised by my GI Doc that I should use lactaid for a while and see how it goes.
Since starting to use it 2 weeks ago I have not had any problems with it.
Much happier now I can have some sort of chocolate milk!!!
