Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to render oats or wheat to be Gluten Free by separating the gluten part from the outer part?

Thanks,
patty

Hi Patty,

I know there is working being on in that area (at least in wheat). But I don't remember all the info.

They are doing some genetic engineering of GF wheat. Then you get into eating genetically engineered food...

The jury is still out on oats. Some believe that oats (not contaminated) are indeed OK for celiacs to eat. Others say NO, oats do cause inflammation
