Hi Xaz,

Both are GF!! Buckwheat is really a member of the rhubarb family. Now - depending if you get this in bulk (bins with scoops), there may be some cross contam. issues. But the products are GF.

Take a look at this grain list from the Celiac Sprue Assoc.
http://www.csaceliacs.org/gluten_grains.php

Amaranth [Amaranthaceae] Many varieties; related to spinach, beets and pigweed. Tiny seeds are commercially available whole, or ground into a light brown flour with a nutty taste. Highly nutritious. Edible leaves.

Buckwheat [Fagopyrum esculentum] Herb with triangular-shaped seed and black shell, used whole, cracked or ground into flour.

Take a look at Bob's RedMill Aramanth - look real close - you'll see a gluten free logo!

Here's their entire line of GF flours (be very careful and make sure it's says GF on the label)
