Ok, so I know that poop isn't always the most appropriate topic of conversation, but here... I think it's expected to come up once in a while.
Last night my older son had his baseball banquet. They had corn tortilla chips served in varying colors, yellow, red, and blue. (Yuck)
I warned my son not to eat too many of the colored ones....and of course, he ignored me.
This afternoon he went in to use the restroom and he came out with a very serious look on his face. He knows that I'm regularly checking my daughter's bm's - as she has "issues" with hers, but I wasn't expecting him to have a problem.
He looks at me, in all seriousness, and in a very quiet voice and said, "Mom, I think there is something wrong with me."
I asked, "Why, aren't you feeling well?"
He said, "Ummm, my poop is green."
I reminded him that I'd warned him about eating "artificially colored" tortilla chips.
Sorry, maybe no one will find this as funny as I did....but I figured anything to bring a little humor!!! |

Stay away from the Halloween slurpees at Burger King. The "black" one actually uses deep green food dye, and it does the same thing. Me and my friends from college laughed for a long time about that.  _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

I so totally would have had to come back to my daugher with... "well, you know honey, what goes in, must come out!" And of course, "See, I've always taught you.. yellow and blue make green!!" _________________ Kristie M.

My daughter had a similar scare after eating a lot of blue cotton candy. At least they are learning to pay attention.
BTW, they may not have been artificially coloured. There are different coloured varieties of corn and you can buy corn chips that are naturally red, blue or black as well as the regular white or yellow ones. They cost more and don't taste any different. |

Kathyjp,
Kids are great! Their innocent reactions to their experiences. It makes me smile . |
