Ok, my friend is pregnant and she is having symptoms that might be related to wheat intolerance. Pain, D and anemia for instance.
How do they test pregnant ladies? Blood and stool only? IF she comes back positive, does the GF diet help quickly? I hope so, she is having pain.
Any comments welcome -- yes, she is making a doctor appointment to discuss her symptoms and ask for gluten antibody blood tests. _________________ Dairy free 7-2004

Pregnancy can trigger symptoms of CD. That is when my D showed up. My OB said a few of his other patients had similar symptoms (he thought virus), but one patient has a colonoscopy, so I guess they can do those procedures when you are pregnant. I just had my endoscopy without any meds, so that is another option. _________________ Mary (37) GFCF/dye free
