Does anybody know if any of the soups or salads at Quiznos are GF? I've tried to contact them once and didn't get a response. I realize a sandwich shop isn't the best place to look for GF food, but there's one in my dorm, and it's just too convenient.

Welcome Topher! I wish I could help. I contacted Subway about this once. They looked at me like I grew another head, then handed me their list of ingredients for each product. No dice. Sad

I know it's not Q's...but Subway's menu: http://www.subway.com/subwayroot/MenuNutrition/Nutrition/pdf/AllergenChart.pdf

Going to these types of places might be asking for trouble Wink

Even if they had GF items available, I would worry about CC. I don't eat at Subway because of it. When they're making sandwiches, the gloves they've use in handling the bread goes into all the meats and veggies and stuff. Just my 2 cents. Smile

I, too have contacted Quiznos, twice. They must be doing such good business with the other 132 that they didn't respond either time.

Can you keep lunchmeat around your dorm. How about buy a side salad somewhere on campus. I will put lunchmeat and lettuce in a summer roll wrapper for an easy meal.

Yeah, I need to stock up my dorm with some food. But I can get quiznos on my meal plan, so it would be nice to get a bowl of their chili or something for lunch if I knew I could.

However, at dinner time, another place opens that's basically GF heaven. Barbeque ribs, pork, and brisket, fresh fries from a dedicated frier, loaded baked potatoes, beans, and a lot more to choose from. hmm, I think I'll have some tonight...

Talk to the nutritionist. They should either tell you what your GF options are for EVERY meal, or let you off of the plan.

This is one of the few times when you can make someone else do the work for you, so take advantage of it.
