Kraft Brands

Kraft is a company that has exemplary labeling practices. All forms of gluten will be declared on their labels. By law, the only allergen concerning gluten intolerence that must be declared is wheat [this excludes barley, rye, oats].

When it comes to label reading, knowing which companies disclose all forms of gluten [not just wheat], makes this process much easier.

Most times one company will have many brands, knowing the brands makes the selection process that much easier.

That "how to read Kraft labels" PDF (via your link) is awesome. Now, if we could just get all manufacturers to be so committed to clear and concise labeling. Seems like many companies could learn from Kraft's example.

Hi Al,
Great list! Every day I call Kraft not realizing the product is a kraft product! I still haven't wrapped my brain around food colorings and additives. That is an awesome list! I want to thank you again for being the person you are to this site. My daughter will 110% safter for it! Thank you!

Yeah, Kraft rocks in this regard. It's nice to know that they, among a few other brands, don't hide gluten and take their labeling seriously. Smile
