I few months ago I was concerned because I had been GF since my self-diagnosis and since ordering my own blood work (the 2 MD's I went to had NO clue!). Although GF for about 4 months I had still continued to lose more weigh slowly,(even though eating 3000-4000 calories per day) putting my total to 40 pounds lost.
When I wrote to the Forum I asked if this was normal. I was getting very concerned. A few poeple wrote back and all said the same thing. "Keep eating. Things will kick-in when enough healing inside takes place". So I kept eating and about a month later I got on the scale and found that I had gained 12 pounds! I have now gained a total of 24 pounds and started working out 2 months ago.
So I am actually stronger and in better shape tan I have been years before this all hit me.
Just some words of encouragement to others.
Blessings,
Alan |

Hey Alan,
That's really great to hear!! Thanks for stopping back to share your success story. Those are just as important has asking for help. It gives hope to those that may still be struggling at the beginning.
I went back to look at your previous posts - you mentioned reflux - how's that doing?
Do I understand your post correctly, you are a doctor?
Keep up the good work!! _________________ Al

| The reflux has also stopped. I am a retired Chiropractor (practiced for 27 years), and am now in full-time ministry. |
