Hello!
I just got back from an event at our local grocery store where I heard Danna Korn (author of "Wheat Free Worry Free") speak and hold a store tour.
I was also able to pick up a copy of the Celiac Sprue Association's gluten-free product listing. This is a heck of a comprehensive book (275 pages of product listings, and an additional 200 pages of company information).

Do you have any questions on specific products? Ask away, and I'll consult my tome and let you know!!

Tammi
Gluten-free since February, not diagnosed yet ...

She's full of energy, and really approachable. She talks with her hands and it was fun watching her try to follow her own train of thought, tell us all the high points about living gluten-free, AND make a lasagna at the same time!
She made me want to try harder at cooking my own meals at home. She makes it seem so easy ... but I guess after 14 years it just might get a bit easier, eh?

Cool!!

That must be some grocery store to get her there! Wow - I wish we had ones like that Sad Smile

It also helps if you like to cook. Thankfully I do. I have a friend with CD - he doesn't like to cook much. I'd hate to think what it'd be like if I didn't. Luckily my wife is a good cook - so I guess I wouldn't starve Laughing

Hang in there - it does get easier!! It's only been a couple of months for you.

Is the Celiac Sprue Association's gluten-free product listing worth the money? I thought it was about $30 and with the number of other books I have been buying trying to get info, I have got to slow down on the spending. Thanks!
