|
Just wanted to share my bagal experience this morning....
My son was over (he's 23). I was having my bagal and cream cheese with fresh strawberries. my son grabbed half, and popped it in his mouth before I could grab it from him I smacked his hand and told him to go get his own, ( my hubby eats the "REAL" ones).
He asked me "why, these are better . " I couldn't argue that, he's right (he tested negative, thank God!) then he asked if he could have more, I told him only if he went to the store and picked more up.
HE WENT
It made my day.
have a great day all.... _________________ Today not possible, tomorrow possible |

Tec, You're so right. Chewy and dense is a much more accurate description. I guess when I said Soft.. I really meant not hard and crumbly tasting like cardboard or styrofoam. _________________ Kristie M.

Now you're just pulling my leg: there's no such thing as GF bread that doesn't fall apart and taste like cardboard!  _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

My Bread by Anna should arrive today, so I can't really comment on that. But the Whole Foods bread (at least the bread here) acts like every other GF bread: crumbles to bits and tastes like packing peanuts. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Kathie: thanks I needed a good laugh today
Ostrich.... I agree some of the already made breads----ugh
Or, if you drop the loaf you might just break a toe
I was brought up "bread spoiled" my grandma eats only homemade bread. I learned how to make it as well. I really miss the feeling of kneading the dough
Any GF bread mixes out there that you can actually knead
I am a baker by genetics ( i can't help it!), it's in my blood
I have heard breads by anna are good,,, is it worth ordering
OH, before i forget, I got the email back froms Sees candy-----yes they are GF WOO HOOO
I am going to click on that topic and rewrite the email I got from them.
And then I am going to Sees
take care _________________ Today not possible, tomorrow possible |

Jayhowkmom,
That is a good idea. My daughter too is teething and those teeting toys are only good for so long as far as entertainment. |

Sorry about the mix up on my last post. I had never done the quote until just then. I will have to practice that. Jayhawk was who I was quoting. My response ended up in the quote box _________________ Sarah |

Those bagels sound yummy. I saw a Wild Oats when we were driving the other day. If I can remember where it was I hope to stop and spend my paycheck. Whoops, I mean try their wide selection of K products. _________________ Sarah |
