Skittles Regular, Tropical & Wild Berry are GF.

Kristie, I saw that you wondered about these in your Success Stories post and thought I throw this out Smile

Yes modified food starch is something to be wary of - you don't know what type of starch it is.

Hmmm are you sure???

Smarties - USA (Rockets in Canada) (Ce-De Candy, Inc.) (www.smarties.com) (vpkg=03/13/03)
Contains NO gluten, corn, soybeans, milk, eggs, peanuts, nuts, seeds, fish, shellfish, or mollusks.

Ahhhhh I think I see the confussion...This from the Smarties FAQ:

7) Q: I bought Smarties in Canada, and they were more like M&M's. What gives?
A: Ce De Candy only owns the trademark to the name Smarties in the United States. Outside the United States, Smarties is a registered trademark of Societe' des Produits Nestle' S.A. and are more like M&M's. If you are in Canada, and want your tart and sweet favorite candy look for Rockets!

Yup - they are 2 different products. I was confused too.

US Smarties are like SweetTarts.

US Smarties are called Rockets in the GWN (Great White North Smile)

GWN Smarties are similar to M&M's in the US - only different...are you still with me?? LOL!!!

Being a Smartieholic, I researched them and found they are gluten free in the United States but are not gluten free in Canada. It's interesting the differences of the GF status between the two countries. I believe it's Wine Coolers that are GF there, but not here! It pays to not only check the status, but where the product was produced. Wink
