Funny - I've known for a long time that Lay's potato chips were OK and I sometimes have odd reactions to other brands. I was starting to wonder if I was sensitive to vegetable oils or something. Confused Southern California must run dedicated lines.

I sure wish I could eat corn - I'd love a bag of white corn Tostitos!

It's not the fritos, they're probley put through a line that has gluten. Almost all chips say that. Made with gluten free products. The lines are cleaned between but a slight residue may still be missed. Shouldn't that still listed as "contains gluten"

Sarah: I have a Frito plant out in my area in Richmond Tx. It's really big! I haven't had a problem with the chips but I think the flavored ones have gluten in the seasonings. I bought some fritos the other day and the ingredients were corn and oil. The oil part bothers me just because of all the grease. By the time I get my cholesterol checked I'll have to nix that too Very Happy . I'm going to find the chips at Whole Food and see if they aren't better and less greasy. Have a great one! Nikki
