I am sorry about laughing at your post, but I could not help myself. When my DD first found out about the diet she was going to have to start living, she cried that she would only be able to 'lick a tree'. LOL
I ASSURE YOU, you will be able to eat numerous foods. They will be highly varied and you will learn to enjoy a new way of living.

One of the hardest things for me is that spicy peanut sauce and peanut butter give me horrible heartburn. You could make your own peanut sauce, and have it over rice noodles, beef, and water chestnuts.
I'm lucky. I'm allergic to dust, dust mites, mold, and a little bit to dog and turkey so I'll probably end up getting shots. _________________ Lauren

MrsP--I had to laugh at the "only able to lick a tree" that's cute. But, would a tree be considered a grain --tell your daughter that I can't even lick a tree! . My kids do not want to know if they are gluten intolerant--they do not want to give up all that wheat stuff. My son has terrible acid reflux and maybe an ulcer, yet doesn't want to be tested, another son has a nasty temper and was in like a "temper flare" for months, they have him on prozac now and he has calmed a great deal--yet now they have diagnosed him with carpal tunnel and I told him, that could be the beginning of neuropathy for him-to get tested. We will see what happens. Another son was tested and given a negative and I know my daughter has it, yet she can't face it. She had to give up corn products already and swears she won't give up pizza--I can't convince her that she can make her own pizza, just as good. _________________ You can't discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore! |
