Hi there, new to this forum, but I recognize aklap from BT... Very Happy HI aklap! Its Krash from BT...nice to find you here.

Okay, question is, I had a hair test where I was found to be wheat/rye/egg/egg white/dairy allergic. I went to the gastro doc and he did an endoscopy on me, and said no celiac..
BUT, I still have dermatitis, and when I follow the Perricone Diet (I went on the diet to lose weight to help neck pain) and lost the weight that I needed to lose, and still have the ugly dermatitis on my elbow.

What gives? The small patch seems to be getting larger, and I wonder if my other allergies can cause this skin dermatitis too.

I stopped by Mona's Gluten Free and the gal there said she had heard of people that are intolerant getting this type of reaction with the skin but hadn't seen it.
I don't know how to give up everything, short of going on the Perricone Diet again, and give up ALL flours, carbs. I cannot afford to lose anymore weight! Thats really become an issue for me due to medication for my Arnold-Chiari Malformation, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome amongst other things. I do know that my body processes the food I eat better when I eat naturally, but boy oh boy I love my cake, cookies, and pies.

I have found that Mona's Gluten free works well, as well as a Cravings mix for cookies, but the mixes still are easy then some mixes. BUT, there is something that isn't agreeing with my system, obviously if the dermatitis is still there..

What do I do next? Eliminate everything to basics? I only drink rice milk, but I do like yogurt at times and, gosh darn it I sometimes don't like I cannot eat normally. I fly a lot and its hard taking my foods with me.

Thanks for reading this long winded post...Glad to be here and glad to share and hope to find answers with others that have the same problems.

Now to dig up the paperwork with all the allergies I have. sigh

Hey Krash-bandicoot!! Wow - it's been a long time! Yeah...I'm kind of everywhere LOL!!

I'm in the process of running errands and Christmas shopping, but I'll stop back later.

Good to see ya again.

How's the driving? Wink

LOL!! yeppers its me.

Good to find an active forum for us...I have had brain surgery, extraction fusion on my neck and when I came back to BT it was gone. Its been a tough recovery, been almost 8 months, but they (pt and neurosurgeons) say it can take up to 2 years for this kind of surgery recovery.

Good luck on braving the crowds! How is the weather in WI? We moved to AZ in February and have pretty much avoided the nasty weather in the Pacific NW...although I head up there tomorrow for the holidays.

Look forward to hearing more.
BTW, great look, and good job here!
