It just continues to amaze me how the information keeps getting out there and the generosity of response. |
Isn't it wonderful??
I have a feeling that my parish priest will be similar in thought as your bishop. I just feel that once he finds out that myself and my children are unable to receive the hosts... he'll do everything he can to help us.
I could be wrong, I hope not. =) |

I sure hope all will go well.
Actually, though, my reassignment had nothing to do with gluten free altar bread. I don't think I've ever discussed it with the Bishop, although he probably has noticed that I decline the wheat host at large gatherings like convention or clergy days, but he's never commented; just gives me a blessing and moves on.
He reassigned me because the former priest's recent behavior toward me and toward others in the past was so far out of line that it became intolerable. It's not necessary or on topic to go into the details here, but there is really zero tolerance for that kind of stuff and for that I am very grateful. We learned a lot from the recent troubles of the Roman Catholic Church.
Good luck in your education project. _________________ "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18 |
