| Can anyone tell me if they know anything about T-Cell Lymphoma because of undiagnosed Celiac Disease. My 58 year old father was diagnosed last June with Large T Cell Lymphoma. He went to ER with what he thought was a ruptured appendix. What he really had was a perforated tumor. The doctors removed three tumors from his small intestine and re-sectioned his small intestine in three seperate places. The doctors explained that T cell lymphoma it caused from Celiac Sprue disease. He had a bone marrow extraction that was negative - CT Scan didn't show any other signs of tumors. He was put on a Gluten Free diet, went through Chemo and was told he was in remission. Three weeks ago he went back to ER with horrible stomach pains again. He has undergone CT Scans, a Barium Swallow, and an Endoscopy. Does anyone know anything about Large T Cell of the small intestine. Is it normal for it to reoccur in such a short period of time? Does anyone have a recommendation for a doctor that specializes in the type of T-Cell non hodgkins lymphoma? Also, does anyone have any information about MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston or The Karmonas Cancer Institue in Detroit. We live in Michigan, but are willing to travel if need to get the best care. It would be so comforting to get some info from someone that has gone through this. |

Al,
Thank you for those links. There were a couple that I haven't found yet, so I do appreciate your help! I think we are going to go to the Karmanos Institute in the next couple of weeks. I sure hope they can help us! If you find any more articles about T-cell affiliated with Celiac, please pass them on.
Take Care!
