i believe in God and the wonder He provides us. i don't like 'rules' of church. kathie summed up my thoughts of how the bible is taken so literally - and i believe it's more of a basis, than anything.
to me, i am the best person i can be and devote my life to kindness and helping others. i believe God will help lead me in the correct direction, but i seem to have a "stink" (so to say) with everything i read regarding different religions, and the only thing that makes the purest sense is the purest form of love and understanding - and end it there, while applying it myself. _________________ If you're hungry, I'd love your support! |

ok, my turn. I'm a bit late on my response, but I wanted to jump on board too.
I loved this one from Purrsnikitty:...a recovering Roman Catholic (LOL). I too was Catholic, but was confirmed Episcopalian April 2005...at age 43. Never too late.
My husband is Jewish (Reformed), but was raised Catholic. He converted about 15 years ago. Almost non-practicing.
We get along wonderfully. Christianity is the major influence within our home. OUr daughter is being raised in the Episcopal church. She is even attends a private Christian School (Lutheran). Life's good between us. |
