I was just wondering what anti-caking agents are?
Ive bean trying to find info on them with no luck!
Ive noticed if i eat pre-grated cheese (anti-caking 460) i get sick, but if i have Taco seasoning mix (anti-caking agent 554) i feal alright. |

Hello Aklap
The third link u posted i have noticed in last couple of weeks that there are ones highlighted in red.
Are they highlighted red now because celiacs cant have them? |

Hi Nitro,
I don't think those are strictly GF or not GF additives. I appears they have to do with the Failsafe diet that this site discusses.
I posted it, because it listed what the additives were - not really for their GF status...sorry for the confussion. _________________ Al

Thats aright i have bean using it to know what foods i can and cant have, and i have noticed that alot of butters/margerines have 202 in them, and they were making me sick, and the website had them in red.
But then again they dont have any 1400's in the red.
I tryed emailing the person from the website, but im doubtfull for a reply. |

| anti-caking agents can contain gluten- but not all do. it depends on how it's manufactured- similar to artificial and natural flavorings. you must contact the individual company. |
