I used corn flour to fry fish, seasoned it with salt, peper, garlic powder and garlic salt, was very good. _________________ Sarah |

Garbanzo bean flour sounds good. Do you use it for fish? I know you said you do for other cooking. Luckily the Garbanzo bean flour is gluten free right? I have a friend from India who had a snack mix type of treat that had little fried pieces of chick pea flour and it was really tasty. Probaby the same thing, maybe you know what I am talking about. It is a mixture of rice puffs with chick pea flour fried pieces with spices. _________________ Sarah |

Oh it's so wonderful (the flavour / taste everything) that you won't even feel like you are eating GF :-p
It's very cheap and you can find it very easily. . . well in Canada at least.
It is mostly labeled as "Besan".
I think what you had was Pakora (indian fritters basically).. . . or maybe poonthi, which is basically just fried spiced flour, you can make it with a variety of flours (mostly they make it with wheat though....BOOOO!). _________________ Suspected Celiac since 2-2-2007. |
