Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if Lexapro is safe? (it's an anti-depressant). My doctor put me on it before I was diagnosed with CD when we were trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with me. Also, my headaches (that I thought were a thing of the past when they suddenly stopped after going GF) are back. Is excedrin safe?

Thanks!
Chris

Hi Chris,

Excedrin is GF. All versions.

Excedrin from Bristol-Myers-Squibb. Their phone number is: 800.468.7746

Lexapro...I can't find anything...yet Smile

As for you headaches...maybe there is some hidden gluten getting in. Or you might be going thru a purge phase. People will feel better for awhile, then they will feel worse. This can happen because you body is adjusting and getting rid of the gluten.

How long have you been GF?

Al,

Thank you so much. I've only been gf for 3 weeks. Last week I felt better than ever, but the last few days I've been going downhill. I'm trying not to get too discouraged. I know I will have ups and downs. I'm just looking forward to the time when it will be more up than down! You're right about the hidden gluten. I need to check out everything. I saw on one of the lists that the toothpaste I'm using may contain it. Scary.

Thanks again,
Chris
