Salba is excellent for those with Celiac Disease. It is Gluten Free.

It is a small seed that can be used for baking, put into gravies, added to yogurt, cereal, salad, water, or beverages.

read about salba at www.salba.info

Also you can purchase Salba through www.nutricell.com

It has so many health benefits that I cannot even begin to list them all.

It is good for diabetics too because it helps to balance blood sugar levels.

It has the richest source of fiber in nature, It has the a higher protein utilization and absorbtion rate than soy. It has all of the Essential fatty acids, and Omega 3's. It has more calcium than 6 glasses of whole milk and more iron than spinach. It really is a phenomenon in nature.

Each little seed, which is smaller than a sesame seed absorbs 30 times its weight in water, so you can imagine what it does to cleanse your system and detoxify.

Hope you find this post to be helpful!!!

Purchase Salba at www.nutricell.com

You beat me to it Keegan Very Happy
and thats Ok as I agree with you and more that Salba is the best product out there for Gluten intolerant people.

I am a Salba user and buy from Nutricell myself. I would suggest it to all that have the same problems as I have had. I have done almost everything and tried everything and Salba was my salvation.

I was happy to see that you added the Nutricell.com site as it is where I found Salba long ago.

Salba is a grain rich in key nutrients. Several of these, particularly calcium, iron, Omega-3 fatty acids, as well as dietary fiber. Salba improves any nutritional profile by providing high quality protein and extraordinarily rich Omega-3 fatty acids without the off flavor of soy and flax.. These superior attributes make Salba ideal for easy incorporation into almost any food product design.

Salba is Nature's Most Powerful Gluten free Super-Grain. I am so glad we can get it here as it hasnt been easy to obtain it untill now.
Salba is excellent for those with Celiac Disease. It is Gluten Free. Salba is far superior to Flax and Soy Products. Salba is recommended for “On-the-Go” Meals and Colonic Health.

I hated the taste it left in my mouth also. After trying your Salba I found it to be what I really needed. I am sorry I haven't had time to review it before but after using it for some time now have decided that I should let others know how it has helped me.

I suffered from Stomach Discomfort, Vomiting, Diarrhea and at times even Constipation, Headaches, and felt Malnutritioned. I would bloat even and experienced weight loss till I started on Salba.
Celiac disease, or as gluten intolerance by no means has to be a way of suffering through life.

How can I tell you how much better I am and it is amazing in how many ways my health has improved. It is also a added plus to me a targeted diabetic.

The energy I have now has increased a hundred fold.
Start now on Salba it really makes a world of difference.

Thanks to Nutricell the best Nutritional site that really cares.
Very Happy
God bless

Hi I am interested in this product. Do I have to order the grinder as well or will I be able to bake or add it into stuff the way it you get it once ordered. I need energy. Even thought i am on the gluten free diet and I am feeling and doing a lot better, I am still lacking energy and feel somewhat malnurished. I don't know if I am or not. It is kinda of hard to explain. Any way thank you for that info.....I think I will like to give it a try.

Boy this sounds like a commercial to me trying to sell this on the celiac forums website! I think I would believe them more if they were actual members and not guests!

Thats kind of what i thought too, maybe I am desperate on feeling normal. I didn't buy any yet , I was just thinking of it. Maybe I should research it more. I read this site every day and learn something new. Sometimes I post. Sometimes I don't. I don't feel like i would be helping anyone if I do because I don't know that much about this disease yet. I am still learning. All I do is just live one day at a time and learn all i can.

I was/am tempted to talk to the board administrator about it. But I thought I'd let this one go.

Thank you Al. You are so kind to try to help everyone on this site. Making everyone feel welcome.
It isn't really anything that I can put my finger on. I can't figure it out. No energy for one. My right leg still hurts. More frequently now. I am on the diet and very careful of cross containmination. I don't go out to eat anymore with my family. So I know I am not getting any hidden gluten.
Some days I feel ok. Others like today I feel kinda weird. Hard to explain how I feel. not really sick but sorta BLAH with my right leg bothering the heck out of me. There is a little bit of pain in my insides that come up every now and then that last about two seconds and then quit. So I don't know if anyone can help me , just have to go back to the doctor again I guess. who knows.
Thanks again Al for caring enough to ask me.

Melissa,

I know how you feel. I feel kinda blah somedays too. I attribute that to other health issues that flare up and I feel down about it.

You may still be healing and feeling the effects of gluten leaving your system. How long have you been GF?

Hang in there!! Hopefully things will turn around soon - where you'll have more good days than bad.

Thanks for you kind words, they are taken to heart and appreciated!

Take care!
