The Breadshop's Crispy Rice and Corn Flakes is no longer gluten free. It has barley malt in it. (Breadshop Consumer Relations, 16000 Fotthill Blvd, Irwindale, CA 91706)

Tones Chicken Soup Base (Not gluten free - only the bouillion is)

Tritamyl Bread - This bread contains wheat starch. It is currently being sold by the Gluten Free Mall on the internet. I do not recommend using this bread. Although the wheat starch has been has been heated at extremely high temperatures in order to kill off the protein, it still contains minute amounts of gluten. Our support group believes in maintaining a zero-gluten diet as much as possible in order to lower the risk of intestinal lymphoma.

Tums - All Varieties (statement from celiac: I called the makers of Tums a few weeks ago (12/15/99) and was told that they could not guarantee that the antacid tablets were GF. They said they do not verify the sources of ingredients from suppliers.)

Turkey Hill 1-800-MYDAIRY: The following flavorings found in some of the ice cream products contain gluten: Blackberry Raspberry Flavor, Butter Pecan Flavor, Rum Flavor, Toffee, Mint Flavor, Natural and Artificial Chocolate Flavor, Peach Flavor, Coconut Flavor. Avoid all products containing these flavors. The Vanilla flavor is GF.

Thanks for the list. I have seen this list and I am a bit wary of it. It's really really old - '02.

The 1st thing on the list...A1...is from Kraft. Kraft is a GF friendly company and will not hide gluten.

It's on Delphi list as GF - but it was verified in 2002. I would call or email them just to make sure. I will say this...this soup is from ConAgra. They are very good about listing allergens - check the label. Be careful tho...they might only list WHEAT as an allergen. You will also need to check for barley and rye in the ingredient list.

I noticed Cooler Ranch Doritos on that list too. I thought they were gluten free. I've been eating them like crazy, but don't really recall getting sick off them. That is hard to tell sometimes because I will get sick for no reason, like tonight when I had a meal that was (to my knowledge) totally gluten free!

The list you posted is GF and Casein Free products. The GF only list does include Cool Ranch Doritos and many other products. My son is GF and loves Cool Ranch Doritos and has not had any problems.

As to the list at the beginning of this forum, I agree that it is a very old list and many of the products listed are indeed GF--I have personally verified many of them with the various companies (for example--all Claratin products are GF). I would not put much stock in this list.

Thanks for catching that! They need to update their website to reflect that. The link I clicked on in the FAQ only said gluten.

Whew!! I thought I was going crazy Because their labels for them didn't include any gluten that I could see. LOL
