Hello, I have looked everywhere for the add on Disneyland??
Help we are going the end of March, need the phone #?? Also if Chris
is the chief is their? I am going for four days, and need that add with places
to eat at!!! Please help!! Thank you,

Here is some more info from the Calgary chapter of the Cdn Celiac Assoc.

Disneyland – California
Disneyland is a great place to take kids - even when they have had a diagnosis of celiac disease.

The gluten free eating in Disneyland is not a problem. One mother provided us with a great report. They have a child with celiac disease as well as one with diabetes. For 5 days they were just like everybody else. They could walk into any restaurant and simply ask for gluten free; no confused waiters, harried chefs, or added expense for “special food”. The diabetes posed no problem; they were provided with a list of carbohydrate values for the various items so that they could follow the diet requirements.

Two more mothers provided us with information also. Here’s what we learned from these Moms after they visited Disneyland with their families ...

Basically any Disneyland eatery has knowledgeable chefs. Should you wish to speak to someone before traveling to Disneyland , contact Chef Chris at 714-781-4650 or 714-781-3569. He has a message machine and will promptly return your call. Please note that he does not work Sundays or Mondays. He will let you know the current information about the restaurants. Chef Chris is smart, funny and he (or any of the Disneyland chefs) is more than capable of handling your dietary needs.

Recommended places:

Main Street :

Gibson’s Ice Cream Parlour will dip into a new tub of ice cream and use a clean scoop for any patrons requesting gluten free.
Plaza Inn – has a fresh egg station, omelet station, gluten free pancake mix and a separate fryer for fries
Coronation Café – have a breakfast of eggs, potatoes and bacon
Fantasyland:

Village Haus – their hamburger and hotdog (no buns of course) and fries are gluten free; also have fresh fruit plates
Tomorrowland:

Red Rocket’s Pizza Port – a very busy place with pizza and pasta on the menu. All you have to say is “Chef Chris told me you could make rice pasta” and the chef nods with a smile. You have a choice between marinara sauce and tomato basil sauce and it comes with an apology that it may take 8 to 10 minutes for it to cook.
Club Buzz -- Light Years Above - hamburger, grilled chicken breast and fries
Frontierland:

Rancho Descalaro – there are 2 options here. Have Mexican or Barbecued Chicken. If you order the Mexican, the chef will make a chicken, lettuce, tomato quesadilla out of corn tortilla and serve it with fries. Have the sour cream, rice and beans too. At the barbecue chicken station, they use Bullseye Barbecue Sauce and there are baked potatoes there.
Stage Door – have a hamburger or hotdog (no bun!!!) and fries
Adventureland:

Bango Barbecue – Chef Chris says this is a good place for a snack. Ask for a gluten free chicken skewers, beef skewers or bacon wrapped asparagus.
River’s of America – can have their fries
Critter Country:

Hungry Bear – have their fries, hamburger or barbecued chicken salad
Disneyland Hotels:

Basically all three of these hotels have a “gluten free pantry”
The Story Tellers Café in the Grand Californian Hotel near California Adventure Park can convert almost the entire child’s menu to be gluten free
Pizza, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, hamburgers or hotdogs with gluten free buns, chocolate chip cookies and vanilla cream cookies and ice cream
The Disneyland Hotel has Goofy’s Kitchen. This is an incredible buffet breakfast with lots of fresh fruit, an egg station, an omelet station as well as gluten free bacon and sausages. The chef will also make your choice between waffles and pancakes and bring out gluten free syrup. It is a limitless plate of food and the chef keeps checking to see if more gluten free food is needed!!
In General:

Every hamburger outlet in Disneyland now has dedicated fryers so you can now get gluten free fries and a burger without a bun
Cotton candy is GF
The popcorn is Orville Redenbacher and is fine
There are fresh fruit and vegetable carts throughout Disneyland
At the sit down locations, the chef comes to the table, visits with the children, takes their order and then delivers it personally.
Self serve outlets can be a bit scary where you place an order and then pick it up at a window. The fears were unfounded as the message about “gluten free” was easily conveyed to the kitchen and the request was handled with a knowledgeable smile.

We had no problems at all when we went in December. You can also go to "City Hall" and ask for a handout of the GF info.

They are at Disneyland, eating is going to be easy and fun.
I don't even worry about this vacation. Can't wait to leave on March 31,07
I won't want to come home!
We are celebrating two birthdays their. My husband on April 1, and my grandchild. Haley will be six yrs old. We are so very excited.
If I knew how to post pictures I would on here!

I think you might want to also check out : http://www.sleepingbean.blogspot.com/ "Gluten and Dairy Free : a day by day lunch pictorial" Blog written by Mom for her Bean... It's very sweet. They just got back from Disney World in Florida so not exactly the same thing, but might give you some good ideas and it's chalked full of photos from their meals in the Magic Kingdom.

PS: Have fun! I LOVE Disneyland - we went a lot when I was a kid. Now I make sure I go at least once every few years or so... I can't miss out on my inner child's Disney fix!

My family and I just went to Disneyland a little over two weeks ago and had a wonderful dinning experience! We went to City Hall and asked about an updated Celiac/Lactose Free offerings. We got back 6 pages of places to eat in Disneyland and California Adventures! My daughter was extemely over joyed. She was diagnosed a little over 5 years ago. She is now 25. These are the places were we ate at, but there are many other places to choose from and just about all of them has something to offer.
At the Tomorrowland Terrace you can get their hamburgers, cheeseburgers, grilled chicken breast sandwich, and grilled vegetarian sandwich with or without Kinnikinnick buns. My daughter had the grilled chicken breast sandwich on the Kinninnick bun and french fries.
Redd Rockett's Pizza Port has rice noodles with marinara sauce, tomato basil sauce or pesto alfredo sauce, cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza, request a gluten free shell. They also have grilled chicken breast for a salad. Their Italian Basil dressing is GF. You can request that a new base of salad and bowl to avoid a cross-contact. At this place, the chef came out personally and took my daughter's order when she told them she had celiacs and was lactose intollerant. He wanted to make sure that they got her order right! She had the rice noodles with the marinara sauce (no dairy in it). She said it was yummy.
At the Riverbelle Terrace's breakfast, you can have the potatoes and they have a huge fruit plate with large slices of fruit. Didn't ask about the scrambled eggs though. Too shell shocked at the size of the fruit plate!
There are many other places to eat at Disneyland. The kitchen leads, managers and chef's are more than happy to help. They want you to have a pleasant dinning experiance.
Throughout Disneyland there are vendor carts that have Turkey legs(yummy), Cotton Candy, and Popcorn (made with a combination of vegetable and coconut oils), and fresh fruits.
We also went to Downtown Disney and were also able to eat without a problem. On the Tortilla Joe's menu, most of the items were GF.
Disneyland has come a long way. Hats off to them! We're going back over Thanksgiving weekend and try out some of the other places. Yes, we are Disneyland Nuts!
