yes...first the endocrinologist told me I had hyperthyroidism....now, after a pill that I took to kinda "kill some of it", I have HYPOthyroidism....since I've been having bad stomach pains, I told my doc and asked me to go to a specialist on that issue...
WELL.........I found out from my gastroenterologist that I have to get on this GLUTEN-FREE / WHEAT-FREE diet......FOR A LONG TIME.....that's besides having to take the hypothyroid pill for the rest of my life......
Before I was TOO ENERGETIC.....now everything kinda slowed down....I get tired easier and such.....I'm just wondering if it's because of the thyroid or the celiac sprue??
Sorry....I'm a little BLAH (like you guys say) today.... |

RATS...that was me posting above. Since I can't edit that post, I'll add it here.
Yes your fatigue is could be related to celiac...fatigue is a very common symptom! It's also a throid symptom. I suspect that will get better once the GF diet kicks in.
Take care! _________________ Al

I wonder if I'll need to take Librax for a long time...it helps with the pain but I don't think it'll cure anything...
Oh, one thing I forgot to mention is for the GF experts, do you know which would be foods/sauces that might have HIDDEN GLUTEN in them? I heard soy sauce is one....
I stopped taking Librax for a couple of days to see if the new GF diet was working by itself...oh no...I have to keep taking that thing...I had bad stomach pains just yesterday...
Do you guys take this same medication too?
Thanks for the reply and for the links.
