I got a craving this evening and HAD TO HAVE ice cream (Costco had the Vanilla-Almond Bars on sale so....) Anyway here's what their website had to say...

Quote:
Is Häagen-Dazs® gluten free?

If there is "flour" listed in the ingredients on the product label, it contains gluten. Examples of Häagen-Dazs® products that do not contain gluten include Vanilla, Coffee, Strawberry, Extraas™ Rocky Road 500 ml and Banana Strawberry Frozen Yogourt Bar.

Laughing - sorry! Just close your eyes and think of yummy yummy green veggies!

PS: It was really good too! (And actually I'm happy I could eat it and not feel yucky. I've been losing weight like crazy and I'm worried I'm going to hit a point where it'll be bad to still be losing weight... so this was a nice way to help temper that - Oh darn! Wink)

My son had a carton of Häagen-Dazs, hidden for himself ( for consumption when he is alone, and doesnt have to share), but I've just had a big fat spoonfull of it , and by golly it was absolutely gorgeous Very Happy

But now I feel evil, as he is only 16 and paid for it out of his pocket money Embarassed ........I'm a dreadful Mother........ Wink (not)

Only thing keeping me from buying pint after pint after pint of H-D Coffee ice cream is the price.

And the weight I've put on for the first time in my life.

Almost a year into this thing and I actually have to watch calories now.

I am amazed!

I content myself with a Blue Bunny fudge and vanilla bar. And two Pamela's espresso-chocolate cookies.
