sweaty palms with CD??

could anyone tell if if sweaty palms could be related to CD? my 9 yr old was recently diagnosed with Celiac Sprue and has always had such sweaty palms dont matter the season either.I feel bad that we are constantly telling her to wash her hands.if anyone could help me with this I'd appreciate the info.Thanks Lynette

Hi Lynette,

I have always sweat a lot. Mostly under the arms - I was always quite embarassed about it. After going GF I noticed that I don't sweat any where near what I used to! It no longer a big problem.

My palms do sweat too, but I've never felt it was an issue for me...or at least that it was excessive.

I read this week that celiac disease can sometimes exist along with endocrine disorders. if going gluten-free doesn't lessen the sweating, this is certainly something to bring to the attention of a doctor. I think they even have pills for excessive sweating.
