| I have the usual GI symptoms of CD and have my initial doctor's visit tomorrow. I have not seen excessive thirst listed as a symptom anywhere, but I am constantly thirsty. Could this also be a result of CD? |

I don't see thirst listed on the list of symptoms per se. But if you are dehydrated, that could cause you to be excessively thirsty. Have you been checked for diabetes? CD and diabetes are both autoimmune conditions, and can be linked. Good luck with the GI! _________________ -Colleen

| I thought I might be diabetic at one point because of the thirst...and some dizziniess and such. If you have a lot of bowel related symptoms, you could be dehydrated. It is worth getting a diabetes blood test though, just in case. |
