| I would really love to find some GF bacon - anyone know of any mainstream ones other than Oscar Meyer ? For some reason, I can't find that one where I live. We have Maple Leaf and I can't find info on their website - and months ago I tried Fleischmans and got sick. I'm dying for a taste of bacon...... |

How about Hormel? They don't hide gluten as far as I know.
I've also had great luck buying from local meat markets - talking to the person who made the bacon can be very reassuring. |

Northernelf, hi, i always buy the walmarts fmv bacon it says its gluten free on the label. walmart brands are really great at labeling gluten free and i do most of my shopping there before heading to trader joes and wild oats so i can buy stuff cheaper. hope this helps. walmart does sell mucho gluten free stuff including but not limited to sausauge, lunch meat, cheese, sour cream, bacon, and much much more. i used to hate walmart but since being gluten free i really love walmart. they give new meaning to eating on a gluten free budget:)
also bashas sells their meats without anything injected into them(i talked to the meat guy/butcher there). and their meats are great and cheaper than other stores around here:) _________________ Gluten is my cryptonite |
