|
|
I have a question about DH. I have been a Celiac for 5 years, but I have never really had a problem with it that I know of. Every now and then I have a problem with breaking out in hives, usually on my legs, but it has been so bad as to show up on my back and stomach. My question is could this be DH? If I break out, it is usually just for a day or two, but I do not know what it is. Any ideas? _________________ It only gets better from here. |

Well, hives aren't DH. I think there's a picture of DH floating around here somewhere. Anywho, have you figured out a pattern to it? It could be something you're coming in contact with. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

I haven't figured out anything. The doctors say it is an allergic reaction, but it is so random that I can't pin it on anything. When the said allergic the only thing I could think of was CD. So I have no clue what it could be. The thing is when I break out the skin where the hives are is really hot and it itches really bad. I don't know though. I can't figure it out. _________________ It only gets better from here. |

Have you tried keeping a food journal? Maybe you can connect it to something you ate. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

You might also want to journal where you have been and what you touch.. keep some wet wipes and hand sanitizer at all times.
We have a problem with the shades that our outside our kitchen window.. there is no plastic guard around the band I have to pull on, so the dry wall falls off every time I open or close the shutters..
I forgot to wash my hands as religiously as I always do wen I touch it.. and I have ANOTHER break out on my hand where it touched the danged drywall dust Thus far it is just one blister, but that is the only thing I did different. I didn't even leave the house!
We've got to call the landlord about getting that fixed, and I need to clean it somehow... _________________

Thanks for the great ideas. I will try that in the future and see what I can come up with. _________________ It only gets better from here. |
