Good story!

I went to this restaurant named Woodlands Restaurant. It is a pure vegetarian Indian. I tried different foods, the server was nice and be sure I didn't eat any gluten food. I had some rice pancakes (which they said is wheat-free and made from rice only.) It was amazing experience. Their rice with vegetables in them. I recommend this place for celiacs in Northern Virginia area, as well as DC/MD if they would drive to this place.

am I wrong about rice pancake being gluten free? I hope not! I am not sick yet Razz

*sniff* sounds delish. I will have to try to convince my parents to go there if we get up in that direction. (as I am a southerner and am spoilt by Bonefish Grill but have almost no indian food whatsoever Sad

I like Bonefish a lot - the last time I was there, the staff was very careful to make sure I didn't eat any of the wrong things. But if I remember correctly, you can pretty much count on a plain meal - a fish filet covered in x sauce, with side of potato, etc. But I liked it and would go back.
