Hi all,
This is my first time to post and I'm in a hurry...... hoping someone can tell me if jello brand puddings that you cook are gluten-free. Kraft makes it so tough when they won't answer emails and phone calls about the issue. I have a favorite jello recipe I want to make that has both tapioca and vanilla cooked puddings in it. Anyone sure about the gluten-free status of those???
Thanks so much! |

Hi Joni,
Nice to "see" you again
Kraft is a GREAT company...they are GF friendly. They won't hide gluten. If gluten is there...they will tell you.
They explain what gluten is, how to look at labels, how to tell if Kraft products contain gluten...
http://www.kraftfoods.com/health/articles/gluten_free_0623031.pdf
Here's what I found on Jello Puddings:
Jell-O (Kraft) (800-543-5335) (http://www.kraftfoods.com/) (vw=2004)
Cook and Serve Puddings. Read the label. Wheat, oats, rye and barley will be listed on the label of Kraft products that contain these ingredients. They will not be hidden under words such as “natural flavors”, etc. Kraft considers distilled vinegar, no matter the source, gf.
If that doesn't get you out of a jam...If you have the ingred. list and want to send it to me...I should be able to tell you.
Could you use Kozy Shack?
Kozy Shack Puddings (www.kozyshack.com) All Rice, Chocolate, Tapioca, French
Vanilla, Banana and Flan (11/04)
Shaw’s pudding: lowfat dairy, rice, tapioca, choc (7/04)
Good luck! Hope you have a safe & happy 4th!!!! _________________ Al
