For someone who really misses having a good bowl of clam chowder, Emeril Lagasse has a recipe that happens to be GF and very tasty.

I made it tonight and was quite pleased. The soup came out a bit thin (I like CC thick and creamy), so I added an extra potato and some cornstarch...it probably didn't help either when I asked my husband to turn the pot back on in an hour and let it simmer...when I came back the soup was boiling. Thanks honey Smile

All in all it was very good and I would make it again.

I forgot to mention...

I used Giesha brand canned clams. On the west coast we don't have a never ending fresh supply of clams and frankly, I don't have the time to go thru that process. Wink
