I just had a colonoscopy and endoscopy yesterday. Biopsies were taken of my small intestine and stomach to check for H. pylori and Celiac. My blood test results were weak so I am not counting on the biopsy to prove positive. However, I was definitely diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (mild form) I googled colitis and gluten sensitivity and found that there were several hits on the two being related. Of course, UC is yet another autoimmune disorder and from what I've been reading it seems that many are related to gluten sensitivity. I'm just wondering if any of you have any ideas about this relationship. By the way is forgetfulness a sign of celiac?
