Wanted to put this in a new thread so it didn't get buried.
In Vancouver there is a company called Quejos (quejos.com) that makes stuff from cassave - only they call it mannioc.
You can get cheese, soy, or dairy free and they have some nice flavors - jalepeno, black olive & feta, sundried tomato, etc. They buns are rectangular and dense with an almost grainy textrure. I love them open faced with meat, cheese, whatever.
Mmmm, I need to order some more... |

Hehehe Good idea Elf, it was getting pretty silly in the other thread.
That's sounds pretty cool!
Have you tried the Chebe rolls?
Thanks! _________________ Al

| I haven't seen them anywhere - I'm in British Columbia, Canada & not in a major center. I've certainly read about Chebe and will try it if I ever find it ! |

I live in a town of < 8000, so we're not a metropolis by any means.
You just might have to order it.
