You, Os and me..yup, I think that qualifies. Although Peg as only made it once - it could've been fluke that it turned out so well [No offense Peg!! *Al ducks] _________________ Al

LOL, you two are too cute.
I've also gotten it to last up to a week, but that's stretching it. My average shelf time is 3-4 days, like TEC said. I still think it tastes better fresh rather than out of the freezer, but maybe my freezer is screwing things up. I'll find out for sure in January.
P.S. - Last time I added an extra Tbs of butter. I didn't want to leave 1 measly Tbs in the fridge. The texture came out much smoother. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Colleen,
I think you're right. This should be a TNT recipe as you, Al and Os all agreed.
Al,
I made a loaf this morning for hot turkey sandwiches and think I added too much water. I baked the @#$* out of it and it still feels damp. Plus it 'deflated' a tiny bit. The loaf in your photo appears to be higher than mine.
For what it's worth I used 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 T honey and it doesn't at all taste sweet to me. I need to write that down in the recipe because I think I always use a different amount of sweetener.
Off for a hot turkey sandwich! |

I didn't find it too sweet either. But then again...I always like the those 5lb loaf, whole wheat honey, 87 grain everything-but-the-kitchen-sink breads before GF.
I'll put the TnT logo, add the TNT to the title of your post TEC! I also made the logo a clickable link so that it will take you to the TNT index for Breads
We had very little turkey left overs from T1. I hope we'll have a bit more from T2 [reminds me of the Terminator movies... ] _________________ Al

Peg made me some dinner rolls today for the holiday dinners. She use a silicone large muffin pan and filled them 1/2 full. _________________ Al

| Da#n those look good! All of these food porn photos are making me hungry. My intention was to go to bed hungry tonight, but I'm not sure I'll make it if every thread I open has a mouth watering photo attached to it. |

I just had to report back and say how well these rolls worked. They were great! I made a couple of mini open faced ham sandwiches with them for Christmas Day supper. Mmmmm good! _________________ Al

| How long did Peg bake those mouth watering rolls? I'm heading to the kitchen right now to bake a batch for dinner. |

Sorry I'm late, just got home, got a late start on tanning...
Peg sez...."Till they were done!"
Between 20-30 minutes. Close to 25 or 30 she thinks.
Have fun!! I've been having them with my bottomless 55 gallon drum of soup...
Enjoy! _________________ Al

I baked them until they appeared done which was about 22 minutes. They could have baked a little longer though.
Peg's were prettier than mine. My muffin tins appear to be much less deep and I didn't smoosh down the dough on top. Still tasted great though!
Good idea Peg! |

Yeah, that silicone muffin "tin" is pretty deep. Those dinner rolls are a good 3 - 4" tall. _________________ Al

Oh man, I haven't had a dinner roll in ages! How many rolls did it make? And how did you get them to look so pretty? _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={
