An old favorite, modified to be GF. Be sure you read the label on your Worcestershire - many have gluten.

6 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons GF Worcestershire sauce (I used Lea & Perrins)
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
7 cups Health Valley Crunch-ems cereal (I use all corn, but you could use any combination of corn and rice)
1 cup original Perky-o's
1 cup peanuts
1 cup GF pretzels (I like Glutino)

1. Heat oven to 250°F. In large roasting pan, combine olive oil and seasonings.. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated.
2. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.

Wowsa! A sea of Chex mix! You know, Chex mix and a beer might go quite well with the bear on a spit that is certain to be served tomorrow afternoon.

Heheheeee Yeah, that's about 3' feet of mix. It took up almost the entire counter Shocked

Ya think da Bears will lose? Peg's SIL is a huge Bears fan [she from South of the Border], the rest of the family are huge Packer Fans [excluding me and Peg], we're football atheists. Smile

That's what 'they're' saying. I'm only up on football this season because I have a VC [voice crush] on Bear Radio Live's (lol) color commentator. I've listened to every game this season. Embarassed

Didn't realize you were football atheists.

I watch it on occasion, but I don't "worship" it like 90% of the Wisconsinites.

Great pic! I could eat that whole batch in one day. Without even trying.

Why can't they transmit taste over the internet?!

*licks the screen some more*

Thanks so much Colleen! We've had quite a bit of Chex mix floating around due to the holidays. It's nice to see a GF version.

Party mix is this recipe. Puppy chow is a mix of Chex, chocolate and peanut butter, coated in powdered sugar.

It's dangerous to leave me unsupervised around a bowl of either of them.

It's also known as Muddy Buddies. Look at the Chex site for all the different kinds of party mix. Your head will explode.

Drats! My DH stopped at the store on the way home from work, and no GF Rice Chex yet.... I had myself all worked up for that puppy chow. I was all ready to sit up and beg, roll over, do tricks, anything for some of that stuff. patience is a virtue....

Checked out the Chex site. Thanks Colleen! I never thought of using cereal in place of graham cracker crumbs for a crust, but they do it a lot there. Good idea!
