TEC - I looked up Coldeeze. and it says that all their products are GF. They really do help with a cold and make it much shorter. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh...getting back on topic here...
I thought Cooking with Gas had an entirely different meaning before I looked at your 1st post Os...   
Had gas oven growing up - never really cooked much then [still PO's my Mother that I cook now]. We have electric. Peg has always had electric. I wouldn't mind gas...as a cooking heat source that is...

Speaking as the wife of one of those service men that go into strange women's homes I think there are enough floozies out there already...  Although I will admit to a little flirting myself when I was younger that got me out of 3 traffic tickets.

Thanks for the information on Coldeeze. I haven't used that with this cold but used Zicam. It's amazing stuff! For some reason neither antihistamines nor decongestants are making a dent in my ability to breath, but 5 minutes after applying the Zicam I feel a little better.

To me the art of flirtation is all about making the flirtee feel good about him/herself, strong, in charge and like a hero. Much/most of the time it's purely innocent. Generally speaking I don't think clothing falls into flirtation unless someone is wearing a pair of tight jeans, drops a pen and can't bend over to pick it up and asks for assistance. [Personally I'm not a fan of the painted on jean phenomenon. I prefer butt jeans as they make ones posterior look darn good.] The shower comment is freaking hysterical and should only be used when the big guns need to be called out.

OK, I wasn't really implying that TEC was Strange I was using the term in a general sense, but........
As for the shower thing that's really not so far fetched as you might think, back before all the diseases that could kill you my ex who was also a service tech used to get some interesting propositions. It was actually his best friends sister who would open the door nude for the "lucky" people who showed up to service her.

Cooking with gas....is.........AWESOME! Ahh, why didn't I have a gas stove/oven earlier?
DH and I made some GF lasagna last night. I swear the meat browned twice as fast, and the lasagna came out perfect. The only disconcerning thing was listening to the tick-WOOSH of the oven regulating the temperature. But I think that's normal.

I'm not sure that's normal, Os. Neither my current gas oven nor the last one made the tick-whoosh noise. Does anyone elses oven make that noise? |

It's not an oven, but my new Weber gas grill with go tick-tick-tick-whoosh when the gas actually ignites into a flame. I would think it works on the same principle. But...regulating the temp. It sounds like it's re-lighting itself when it needs more heat instead of increasing the gas flow. Hmmmm...
What make and model of stove/oven do you have Os?

I was in a hurry last night/this morning, so I wasn't able to get the model number. I'm pretty sure it's just a standard Whirlpool oven. Nobody else I know owns a normal gas oven. When I get home tonight I'll try to remember to check the manual.
