Hi,

I just found this new free site www.gfregistry.com

It lets you search for gluten free restaurants and bakeries and stuff. I was planning a trip to new york and found lots of great stuff. I just might have to move there. I would never be hungry again.

I hope this helps.

Hi, Barbara. Just out of curiosity, are you affiliated with that site in any way? I am not against that, but am interested in full disclosure. We love new members, but you just joined today and have posted twice about that site. We have been spammed before, and I like that this is a safe place to go. Our Moderator gets a rash when he has to deal with Spam. Very Happy Please don't be offended if I am off track. If anything, the fact that I know it has been posted twice in one day means I am spending too much time here. Embarassed

Hope you have a great trip to NY!

Thank you for asking. No I am not. I just joined today and would like to get more connected. I have been gf for 4 years now. The first years were full of depression (i lost a lot of friends while I declined invitations to social events) and I am just now trying to find my way out.

I have found some resources with the support groups, but am still looking for a way to live more"normal" I was excited to see that more restaurants are offering gf menus. I thought this would be a tip for other people.

You are right it is a good tip. Sorry for getting the wrong vibe. Welcome to the family. I think you will find that this is a nice board and a great place to get new ideas.

I look forward to reading more of your posts. Smile
