Hey guys! I'm new but I've had Celiac Disease for 10 yrs (i'm 13) but only found out 4.5 yrs ago. You might expect from my username and signiture that I'm a martial artist/warrior and I'm serious-no plastic swords or padded staffs. Actually I have 8 swords and 11 knives but i can't find half of the knives lol! So, any1 else like dangerous hobbies (especially martial arts or sword related)? Thanx and cya soon-

Hi, S_O_D. Welcome to the board. My husband used to have a crazy roommate that slept with a sword under his pillow. Maybe you should look under your pillow for your missing knives.
What martial arts do you practice? I am interested in getting my kids into a class, but there are so many different types, it's hard to know which one to choose. _________________ -Colleen

Welcome SOD! I hope you enjoy it here. We don't have too many teenagers on the board, so it'll be nice to get some fresh perspective.
Ummm, I'm about to venture into the world of Windows Vista for the first time. Does that count as dangerous? I tried martial arts a loooong time ago. It went against my squishy, bookworm personality. But I still think it's an awesome sport. Do you use any other weapons? _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

We'll find out tonight or tomorrow, whenever the laptop arrives. I tried to downgrade to XP. Didn't work. If you hear screaming coming from NE, you now know why. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Welcome, S-O-D! I don't do any martial arts, but I have a close friend who has worked on many Hollywood martial arts projects and she is a martial arts instructor at the local dojo in my town. Does that count?
Hope you learn lots here! |
