I used to make my favorite mac n cheese with a can of Campbells' tomato soup. I can use regular tomatoes but it is not the same. Any suggestions of a GF condensed tomato soup? It's seems like most of the GF soups are not condensed.

I've never seen a GF condensed tomato soup pre-made. Here is a recipe from the GIG site. I have often thought of using it to make my Mom's tomato soup cake, but haven't tried it yet.
| Quote: | Cream of Tomato Soup
Ingredients
8 oz can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp corn syrup
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together in a small saucepan with a wire whisk.
Heat to a boil, stirring frequently.
Simmer on low heat until ready to serve.
CONDENSED CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP
Omit water and milk from recipe. Use in recipes in place of one can of Cream of Tomato Soup. |

| It's not condensed but you could try Amy's. I think it's better than Cambell's ever was. |

| Thanks! I thought about Amy's... but I'm not sure that a non-condensed soup would work in a casserole type of dish. I have never tried it like that. I guess I'll find out! |

| I tried the condensed soup recipe and it was pretty good in my mac and cheese...not quite the same..but what is! It's a pretty good substitute. |
