|
|
So yall are going to see a lot of questions from me going on right now, as I just recently started getting into this gluten free stuff. This board is so helpful, yall are all really great!!!
Anyway, so I just bought 2 really really big jugs of Nitrotech protein powder a couple of months ago. And I just realized it contains wheat. Well, I've been weight training so I need some good protein after I work out. Any suggestions? Thanks! _________________ I'm just frustrated, trying to figure out what is wrong with me. |

Michelle - I don't use protein powders myself. Any protein powder that is pure egg white, soy protein or whey protein may be safe unless stuff is added to it. Your best bet would be to find one you want to try and call the manufacturer to see if it is safe. If you go into a store like GNC, they may be able to point you to one that is safe. But still check with the manufacturer just in case.
Hope you find somehting that works for you. If you find a brand you ar einterested in, post it here and we can help you determine if it is safe. _________________ -Colleen

Hemp seed powder is also an option. Lots of protein and fiber. Great in a smoothie or mixed in yogurt. There are several on the market. _________________ Nance

There is some good rice protein powder out there...you can find it at Miss Roben's. (allergengrocer.com)
I only use the rice protein powder, but that's just my personal taste...
