Com'on Nance - get with the program...what's that got to do with popcorn, chocolate, Truffles, pigs, Simpon's and dysfunction?

It's grey and rainy here but the flowers are getting ready to bloom. Last night I had a dream about grey, gloomy and flowers. It took place in Barcelona. Anybody been to Barcelona? Tell me about it.

I've not ever been to Barcelona, but it does remind me of a song.

I remember when that song first came out because our PE teacher made us do a dance to it....must have been 9ish.

I didn't watch the utube video though. I have been meaning to check out the video called The Last Lecture which is allegedly house at utube. anybody seen it? Saw the guy on a news mag program earlier in the week. If only...

It was released in 1979. I was 17 and a junior in HS

God am I old...

Ive been seeing the spots for it on TV. I don't know much about it. Is that from the professor that was dying? yeah, it does sound interesting.

We're supposed to have a rainy, snowy weekend which is absolutely perfect for Easter redo. Rolling Eyes Seems as if my golf/geocaching plans have been thwarted by mother nature. So, I'll have plenty of time to watch the video and report back.

TEC-You geocache? Very cool! My DH is getting into that. Soon as we have bare ground I'm sure he'll be tromping around the woods with his GPS in hand. He hasn't done that much lately, because he's also into historical re-enacting (actually living history. He always corrects me on that point.). He does demos all over the state doing white-coopering, while wearing historical garb. At these demos he also camps using all period-correct gear, lights his fires with flint and steel, etc.

Just seeing how far OT we could take this....
Steph
edited to add...If you get into geocaching you are instructed not to leave food at a cache site because of the possibility of animals disturbing the cache. So-NO Paul Newman popcorn should be left on-site. Phew, back on topic!!!

I thought there was a thread about geocashing around here somewhere...

Today is gloomy: windy and cold. Yesterday was gloomy: snowy, windy and cold. So I guess it's a step up. I'm stuck indoors working anyway, so it's not a big deal.

Scootin' weather next week though! WOOT!

Just wanted to add a very easy "recipe". On a food site I found and taste tested this.with my non-GF son.

Simply add a 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and 2 T oregano and shake the bag.

It is delicious!
