Does anyone know about this restaurant? Their website lists wheat-free (or rather, all the foods that are not wheat-free) but they state that they make no claim about gluten-free for any of their foods. We went there last night, and I had a burger, no bun, with coleslaw on the side (apparently no other veggies exist in this restaurant). I asked to see the coleslaw dressing ingredients, and they did contain "spices" and "natural flavors." Stupidly, I decided to risk it anyway.
I felt really good for most of today, even ran a mile for the first time this morning. Instead of lunch, I did binge on a lot of the Blue Diamond nut and rice crackers (I tend to make stupid food choices the same day I've increased my exercise). Thirty to 60 min later I started to feel very weak and nauseous, and eventually I threw up. I don't know if it's my usual not-quite-24 hr reaction to gluten, or if my body doesn't like as much rice as I just had in those crackers. I can't find anything specific on the web about Beef O'Brady's and gluten, though. _________________ Jen
