I used a Office Depot a couple times over the last couple weeks. Each time I use it I start have symtoms of being gluted. Does anyone know if glue sticks contain gluten? The way I'm using it, glue sticks work real nice, are there any GF glue sticks.

Does Office Depot actually make the glue sticks? You'd be better off calling the manufacturer to make sure.

Thank you for contacting us.

We do indeed make the Office Depot branded glue stick products. All of our glue sticks (as well as the Office Depot glue sticks) are free of gluten.

Hey Dan,

Thanks for sharing their response. Any idea what you might be reacting to if it's not gluten? Some type of chemical sensitivity perhaps?

Hope you get it figured out!

About the same time I started woodworking, Rice Chex came out gluten-free. From eating wheat, I was lactose intolerant. I got tested from Enrterolab the test came back I am sensitive to casein (milk protein). For the last year and a half I was trying to find out that the symptom where. But when there was a main stream cereal, I started having breakfast again. But I starting having soy milk with the cereal, and feel great now.

It's funny because my Doctor called about some heart things she wanted to test. I thought if it wasn't the glue sticks, it had to be my heart. But my tights also felt real burnt out for years, that's going away too.

Thanks for asking Al

It's good to hear that you've got it figured out!

What kind of woodworking projects do you like doing?

Right now I'm doing scroll saw things. But I have just about every wood tool there is. So I do some more major stuff like remodeling my house. Seen I'm so sensitive to gluten, I'm just doing anything I can to make a buck here and there.
