Finally found some yesterday. I didn't get to eat much this morning however because the grandson (26 months) decided that he loved them to Three cup fulls later and I think he's finally full. _________________ CD by Biopsy 3/25/88 |

According to a post on Delphi today, the strawberry chex is now GF. i know it wasn't before, but there has been an ingredient change.

Ooooooohh, I'm so excited!!! Despite the cold, I almost want to run to the store to get some strawberry chex if that is true. I almost checked their other boxes yesterday just to see if any of them were labeled as gluten free, but I was in a hurry so I decided not to. I'm definitely checking next time. |

Make sure you check the boxes. The new formula might not be on the shelves for a while. _________________ -Colleen

By the way- has the GF label been taken off the rice chex in your area? I just bought a box the other day and it was clearly the new ingedient list but the label on the front was gone. I noticed this awhile back and can't remember if I mentioned it before. _________________ Rachel |

The labels on the ones here changed again a while ago, but it still has a big gluten-free thing on the side. It even sort of explains celiac which I think is cool to raise awareness. |

I didn't even notice that. I will have to come home and look at my box. I just noticed the change on the front. Very observant of me! _________________ Rachel |

I just realized that I linked to the wrong Delphi post with my message yesterday. I have fixed the link so that it goes to the right place now. Sorry about that. _________________ -Colleen

You are right Cardine! The whole side panel is about CD. It's funny- I only ever look at the ingredient side of the box! _________________ Rachel |

Bless their hearts for making GF Chex... and trying to educate about Celiacs but I thought this was funny...from their recipe page on their website:
| Quote: | | Did you know that as many as 1 in 133 Americans are unable to digest gluten, a natural protein found in grains like wheat, rye, and barley? Simply switching to a gluten free diet, which includes Rice Chex®, allows these people to live normal, healthy lives. |
*bolding mine* ... 'simply'... |

i don't read this as stating the gf diet is a simpe thing, i read it as getting healthy is just switching to gf, not a more complicated thing like meds and surgery, etc. |
